Kozhikode: Housing project of Wisdom nearing completion
Wisdom organisation has also undertaken renovation of 89 houses that were damaged in the flood.
KOZHIKODE: Wisdom Islamic Organisation, a Salafi outfit in Kerala, has completed most of the houses it promised to construct for those who lost their abodes in the floods in 2018 and 19.
The organisation had decided to construct 106 houses under the ‘Sneshasparsham’ for those whose houses were completely destroyed in the flood. Among these work on 90 houses are completed and the remaining are under construction.

Entire work under the project will be completed within six months, said the office-bearers of Wisdom. It has also undertaken renovation of 89 houses that were damaged in the flood.
A total of 11 houses were constructed in Ernakulam district, six in Thrissur, seven in Wayanad, nine in Kottayam, 63 in Malappuram, three in Alappuzha, three in Palakkad, two in Kozhikode, one each in Idukki and Kannur.
The houses measure 650 to 750 sqft and the latest one was completed in January 2021.
